FRANK SIDES LOSES SECOND HOUSE BY FIRE

     Last Saturday morning the Frank Sides ranch house north of Whitney caught fire from the exploding of a kerosene can.  Mr. Sides was at Crawford at the time.  Members of the Grant family were about but unable to put out the fire.  Neighbors were notified over the telephone but were unable to be of any assistance as the fire had gained such headway.

     This is the second loss of this kind Mr. Sides has sustained, having lost a house about 15 years ago.  The fire on Saturday caused practically a total loss, only a few things being saved from the front room.  Mr. Sides was carrying $1,200 insurance which was only partial covering of the loss.  It is supposed that Mr. Sides will soon rebuild an all modern house as far as is convenient.
