Whitney Reflections

A tribute to the early settlers of a western Nebraska village

The most comprehensive collection of historical information about Whitney, Nebraska is contained in Still Alive and Well - Whitney, Nebraska, authored by Mabel L. Kendrick.

The book contains a wealth of information about the establishing of Whitney, its early pioneers, churches, businesses and school. There are photographs, too, but the most fascinating aspect of the publication is its many side stories and anecdotes that bring to life the eary village of Whitney.

With the kind permission of the Kendrick family, we’ll be using many portions of Still Alive and Well within Whitney Reflections.
